On August 6, 2024, IRISO, Ltd. (Headquarters: Japan, President & Representative Director: Hitoshi Suzuki) announced the lineup of its “10143 Series” Board to Board Connectors which achieve high-speed data transmission of up to 25 Gbps and hybrid power supply with Floating structure.
The number of poles available is 20 to 160 pins (every 20 pins), stacking type Mating height is 10 to 30 mm (21 variations). The right angle plug 10144B (3 variations) has also been added to the lineup, making it compatible with a variety of devices that require high speed transmission, such as integrated ECUs for automobiles and industrial equipment.
Feature 1: High-speed data transfer of up to 25 Gbps enables Floating that exceeds the pitch width
The recent trend towards more sophisticated devices and an increase in the amount of information being transmitted has spurred demand for high-speed transmission in connecting components. In addition, the increase in high-frequency components in signals has led to situations where attention must be paid to minute details that were previously not an issue. Products compatible with high-speed transmission are optimally designed by organically combining numerous on-site evaluations and simulations.
The 10143 series supports various transmission standards including PCIe Gen 4, achieving high-speed transmission of up to 25 Gbps*.
Another major feature is that it combines high reliability and ease of use by combining IRISO Electronics’ Floating structure technology with high-speed transmission.

Feature 2: Power supply terminals help save space
By locating the power terminals on both ends of the product, there is no need to allocate terminals for power supply, which contributes to miniaturizing the connector.
This power terminal also serves as a fixing bracket, making it possible to miniaturize the entire connector, thereby reducing the area that the connector occupies on the board.
Feature 3: High heat resistance for in-vehicle equipment
High heat resistance is also required for connector products due to the increase in heat generated around the engine in in-vehicle equipment and the increased functionality of devices. Our high heat resistant products, realized by making full use of our materials and design technology, can be used safely even in harsh high temperature environments up to 125°C.
