On October 4, 2024, IRISO (Headquarters: Japan, President & Representative Director: Hitoshi Suzuki) announced the “13065 (2-row type) / 13103 (1-row type) series” automotive equipment wire harness connector.
By adopting a “0.5mm terminal” instead of the conventional harness terminal “0.64mm terminal”, the board volume is reduced by approximately 55% compared to our conventional products (13065 series), realizing compactness and weight reduction in the mobility market where electrification is progressing. In addition, it can be used safely with high heat resistance and robust strength in the internal connections of powertrain equipment in construction and agricultural machinery used in harsh environments, and in FA equipment.
Major features
Feature 1: Small and robust
It is heat resistant up to 125°C and has through-hole type reinforcing metal fittings to increase the strength of the board fixing, allowing it to be used in harsh environments.
Feature 2: Excellent contact reliability
The adoption of a three-contact structure ensures stable contact. In addition, the two dimple contacts arranged in the same straight line provide a wiping effect that removes foreign matter.
Feature 3: High insertion/removal workability
A bridge is provided around the lock lever to ensure space for gripping the harness during insertion and removal, and to prevent deformation that occurs when the harness is bundled. Three types of keying are also provided to prevent incorrect Mating.
